Description:

Ultramid A3EG3 is a polyamide 66 grade reinforced with 15% glass fiber. It displays good dielectric properties. It possesses good elastic properties, dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Ultramid A3EG3 is processed by injection molding. Applications include medium stiffness machinery components & housings and electrically insulating parts.

Ultramid A3EG5 is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 25% glass fiber. It possesses good elastic & dielectric properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. It is processed by injection molding. It is suitable for machinery components and housings. Ultramid A3EG5 is also used for coil formers, bearing cages and electrically insulating parts.

Ultramid A3EG6 is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It possesses good elastic & dielectric properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. This grade is processed by injection molding. Ultramid A3EG6 is suitable for machinery components and housings such as lamp socket housings, cooling fans, insulating profile for aluminum window frames, water containers for automotive cooling systems, as well as electrically insulating parts.

Ultramid A3EG7 is a polyamide 66 reinforced with 35% glass fiber. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, hardness, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. It is processed by injection molding. Ultramid A3EG7 is suitable for machinery components and housings such as lamp socket housings, heating pumps, flow heaters as well as electrically insulating parts.

Ultramid A3W is an unreinforced, easy flowing, polyamide 66 (PA66) grade. This grade is processed by injection molding. It displays fast processing properties. It is the material with the greatest hardness, rigidity, abrasion resistance and thermostability. Ultramid A3W is suitable for highly stressed technical parts, such as bearings, gear wheels and electrically insulating parts such as terminals and cable connectors.

Ultramid A3K is an unreinforced, easy flowing, polyamide 66 (PA66) grade. It displays fast processing properties. It is the material with the greatest hardness, rigidity, abrasion resistance and thermostability. It is processed by injection molding. Ultramid A3K is suitable for electrical household appliances. It can also be used in terminal blocks, connectors, photovoltaics and automotive construction.

Ultramid A3SK, Very easy flowing injection molding grade for rapid production of thin-walled technical parts (e.g. housings and small components).

Ultramid N-276 is a 40% mineral/glass reinforced, heat stabilized injection molding PA6/6.

Ultramid N-333 NF3001 is a heat stabilized polyamide 66 grade with 33% glass reinforcement. Possesses good elastic properties, low tendency to creep and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, dimensional stability, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Processed by injection molding. Used for power steering reservoir applications.

Ultramid grades are molding compounds on the basis of PA6, PA66 and various co-polyamides such as PA66/6. The range also includes PA610 and semi-aromatic polyamides such as PA6T/6. The molding compounds are available unreinforced, reinforced with glass fibers or minerals and also reinforced with long-glass fibers for special applications. Ultramid is noted for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. In addition, Ultramid offers good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior and can be processed without any problems.

Ultramid can be processed by all methods known for thermoplastics. The main methods are injection molding and extrusion. Complex moldings are economically manufactured in large numbers from Ultramid by injection molding. The extrusion method is used to produce films, semi-finished products, pipes, profiled parts, sheet and monofilaments. Semi-finished products are usually further processed by cutting tools to form finished molded parts.
