Description: Kynar Flex 3030-10 is available in powder form: Kynar Flex 3031-10.
Kynar Flex 3030-15 resin is a copolymer of PVDF specifically designed for flexible plenum cables and tubing.
Kynar Flex 3050-52 resin is a copolymer of PVDF specifically designed for flexible plenum cables needing low temperature impact properties down to -40°C.
Kynar Flex 3120-10 resin is a pelletized, flexible, semi-crystalline copolymer. Kynar Flex 3120-10 resin is a fluid grade that can be extruded or injection molded to make final products with a 150°C rating.
Kynar Flex 3120-15 resin has been specifically designed for use in wire and cable constructions which require a 150°C rating and improve flame and smoke resistance. Kynar Flex 3120-15 resin is easily processed and has excellent physical, mechanical, thermal and flame resistant characteristics. Its low viscosity allows easy processing.
Kynar Flex 3120-15 resin meets the smoke and flame requirements of UL 910.
Kynar Flex 3120-50 is a pelletized flexible,semi-crystalline copolymer. It can be molded or extruded and has a useful temperature range from -40°C - 150°C. Kynar Flex 3120-50 has a UL RTI of 150°C. Kynar Flex 3120-50 can be used in compounding for cross-linkable wire and cable as well as both wire applications requiring low temperature flexibility and high temperature resistance. Kynar Flex 3120-50 also finds use as a polymer processing aid (PPA) for polyolefins. The use of Kynar Flex 3120-50 or Kynar Flex 3121-50 at 200 -1000 ppm levels reduces extruder pressure, improves surface finish, reduces die build up, and improves gauge control.
Kynar Flex 3121-50 is a pelletized flexible,semi-crystalline copolymer. It can be molded or extruded and has a useful temperature range from -40°C - 150°C. Kynar Flex 3120-50 has a UL RTI of 150°C. Overview: Kynar resins are fluorinated thermoplastic homopolymers. Kynar PVDF and flexible copolymers are world famous for their balance of easy-processing and tremendous resistance and durability. With manufacturing facilities in each of the major regional markets - North America, Europe, and Asia.
Kynar PVDF polymers are considered exceptionally easy fluoropolymers to process - requiring little in the way of specialized equipment. There is a very wide "processing window" (a wide difference between the melting temperature and the degradation temperature).
Kynar resins are fluorinated thermoplastic homopolymers.Outstanding characteristics: chemical resistance, imperviousness to UV, high barrier properties, high purity, good mechanical and thermo-mechanical properties.
Kynar fluoropolymers are specified by end-users across the world for their outstanding combination of properies:
Outstanding resistance to sunlight/UV exposure
Tremendous chemical resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals
Radiation resistance
Excellent burn characteristics / flame and smoke properties
Easy processing on industry-standard equipment and easy post-processing such as welding and fabrication
Extremely high purity for the most demanding applications
Extremely high electrochemical stability
Excellent abrasion resistance
High temperature rating: RTI 150º C
