Description:

Ultramid B3EG3 is a PA6 grade reinforced with 15% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, enhanced impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Processed by injection molding. Suitable for applications such as automotive mirror housings and wheels of mountain bikes.

Ultramid B3EG4 is a polyamide 6 grade reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It possesses good dielectric & elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength and stiffness. It displays thermal stability, enhanced impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state & at low temperatures. Ultramid B3EG4 is processed by injection molding. It is suitable for automotive interior and general industrial applications.

Ultramid B3EG5, 25% glass-fiber reinforced injection-molding grade for industrial articles and electrical insulating parts.

Ultramid B3EG6 is a PA6 grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, enhanced impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Processed by injection molding. Suitable for industrial articles and electrical insulating parts.

Ultramid B3EG7 is a PA6 grade reinforced with 35% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, enhanced impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance even in dry state and at low temperatures. Processed by injection molding. Suitable for industrial articles and electrical insulating parts.

Ultramid B33 L is a lubricated polyamide 6 grade of intermediate viscosity that is well suited for the production of biaxial oriented and cast film and monofilaments. Product comes in 2-2.5 mm round pellets.

Ultramid B3S is an easy flowing, finely crystalline injection molding PA6 grade.

Ultramid B3S FC R01 is a PA6 grade. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance in dry state and at low temperatures. Processed by injection molding. Used for food contact applications.

Ultramid B3S HP is an unreinforced, polyamide 6 grade. It possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. This grade provides good flow, good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, hardness, high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. It displays high impact resistance, good processability, good damping characteristics and high shock resistance in dry state & at low temperatures. It is optimized to achieve very fast cycle time. Ultramid B3S HP is processed by injection molding. It is recommended for thin-walled technical parts such as housing, fittings, grips, small parts, anchors and fixing clamps.


Overview:
Ultramid grades are molding compounds on the basis of PA6, PA66 and various co-polyamides such as PA66/6. The range also includes PA610 and semi-aromatic polyamides such as PA6T/6. The molding compounds are available unreinforced, reinforced with glass fibers or minerals and also reinforced with long-glass fibers for special applications. Ultramid is noted for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. In addition, Ultramid offers good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior and can be processed without any problems.

Ultramid can be processed by all methods known for thermoplastics. The main methods are injection molding and extrusion. Complex moldings are economically manufactured in large numbers from Ultramid by injection molding. The extrusion method is used to produce films, semi-finished products, pipes, profiled parts, sheet and monofilaments. Semi-finished products are usually further processed by cutting tools to form finished molded parts.
