Description:
Dyneon Fluoroelastomer FX 3729 is a copolymer. This FKM has a low Mooney viscosity for hose, tubing, and extrusion applications.
Dyneon fluoroelastomer FX 3729 can be compounded using standard water cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, FX 3729 should be banded on the mill several minutes prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks have good scorch resistance and storage stability. This product has an incorporated cure technology that may help save time and increase throughput. In addition, this product produces smooth extrudates without the use of processing aids, and can be formulated to yield good permeation resistance to automotive fuels. The benefits don't end there; Dyneon fluoroelastomer FX 3729 has low permeation and offers very good chemical and temperature resistance to create durable and long-lasting finished products.
Dyneon Fluoroelastomer FX 6792 is a copolymer. This FKM is designed to develop a higher modulus while also processing similarly to other fluoroelastomers. It is used in transfer and injection molding and maintains high press-cured elongation tear strength.
Dyneon Fluoroelastomer FX 6792 to develop a higher modulus during post-cure than other fluoroelastomers that are currently available on the market. The development of a higher modulus is independent of filler type or amount.
Dyneon fluoroelastomer FX 6792 can be compounded using standard water-cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical FKM formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, FX 6792 should be banded on the mill prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks have good scorch resistance and storage stability.
Dyneon Fluoroelastomer FX 9143 is a Medium Viscosity, Incorporated Cure Terpolymer formulated for o-ring applications.
Dyneon FX 11818 is a terpolymer. This fluoroelastomer (FKM) is an product suitable for automobile fuel system applications requiring improved fuel resistance over standard copolymer products.
Dyneon Fluoroelastomer FX 11818 has many attributes that make it suitable for automobile fuel system applications where improved fuel resistance is required, as well as applications requiring higher levels of elongation. Dyneon fluoroelastomer FX 11818 is primarily used in extrusions and calendering. This FKM can be compounded using standard water-cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical FKM formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, Dyneon fluoroelastomer FX 11818 should be banded on the mill prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks have good scorch resistance and storage stability.
Dyneon Base Resistant Elastomer BRE 7231 is a terpolymer. This fluoroelastomer (FKM) offers improved resistance to high-amine oils and lubes, coolants and transmission fluids compared to other type 1 and type 2 FKMs.
Dyneon Base Resistant Elastomer BRE 7231 boasts improved base resistance, it is a good choice for applications including engine, transmission, transfer case or different shaft seals, or as a rubber coating for cylinder head gaskets that require multi-fluid resistance to engine oils and coolants.
Dyneon base resistant elastomer BRE 7231 can be compounded using standard water-cooled internal mixers or two-roll mills with standard fillers and ingredients utilized in typical fluoroelastomer formulations. The dry ingredients should be blended before adding to the masticated gum. For best results, BRE 7231 should be banded on the mill prior to adding the blended dry ingredients. Once mixed, the compounded stocks have good scorch resistance and storage stability.
