Overview: GELOY materials are ASA resins and polycarbonate (PC) and ASA blends. They are valued for superior weatherability and retention of properties after exposure to harsh environmental conditions. The ability to use molded-in colors and VISUALFX effects avoids the cost of secondary painting, which is often required with ABS and PC/ABS.
GELOY materials also surpass polypropylene (PP) in dimensional stability and impact resistance. Injection molding and extrusion grades are available. Applications include exterior trim, mirror shells, fog lamp bezels, spoilers and roof racks.
GELOY resins are amorphous PC/ASA blends that offer excellent property retention after weathering of ASA materials and the superior mechanical properties and heat resistance of polycarbonate (PC) resins. This product line is available as non-flame retardant, general purpose, anti-dust resins, coextrusion resins and flame-retardant grades.
