Description:
APEC 1603 is a linear, amorphous, UV stabilized and high viscosity co-polycarbonate grade. Exhibits high toughness, low-temperature impact strength, glass-like transparency, good metallization and high dimensional accuracy and stability. Offers good electrical properties, impact resistance, high heat resistance (between 158°C and 203°C) and good resistance to saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, dilute mineral acids, and both neutral and acid salt solutions. Shows good weatherability, flowability and broad temperature range from -30°C to +200°C.
APEC 1695 is a linear, amorphous co-polycarbonate grade with easy release.
APEC 1697 is a linear, amorphous, UV stabilized and low-viscosity co-polycarbonate grade with easy release. Overview:
Apec high-heat polycarbonate
Apec can be utilized over a broad range of temperatures, from approximately -30ºC to approximately +200ºC.These properties, along with good dimensional stability, weatherability and flowability, allow Apec to be utilized as a replacement for glass, metal or standard polycarbonate in high-heat applications.
Thus, Apec unique features facilitates a high level of design freedom and a broad processing range. The material is processed primarily via injection molding and is available in clear, transparent, opaque and specialty colored formats to further stretch design limits.
