Vydyne 21SPF series resins permit production of molded parts with good initial color plus good property and color retention when using regrind. This resin is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories and conforms to the requirements of many industrial, federal and military specifications for premium-quality, general purpose nylon 6,6 resins.
Vydyne 21SPR is a general-purpose, unfilled, PA66 resin with an performance lubricant. Designed principally for injection-molding applications, this product offers a combination of engineering properties characterized by high strength; rigidity; good toughness; high melt point; good surface lubricity; abrasion resistance; and resistance to many chemicals, machine and motor oils, solvents.
Vydyne 22HSP is a heat stabilized molding grade nylon 6,6 resin. It is lubricated for improved machine feed and mold release and is intended for use in applications requiring fast molding cycles and outstanding mold release performance. The stabilization package has been formulated to provide improved retention of physical and electrical properties, compared to non-heat stabilized grades during long term exposure to high temperatures.
Vydyne 41 is a general-purpose, impact-modified PA66 resin. Available in natural, it is recognized for all the processing and property advantages inherent to PA66 with the addition of improved impact strength. This resin offers a well balanced combination of engineering properties characterized by high melt point, good surface lubricity, abrasion resistance and resistance to many chemicals, machine and motor oils, solvents. Vydyne 41 is designed to meet the critical low-temperature impact requirements called out in many automotive specifications.
Vydyne 41H is general-purpose, impact-modified PA66 resin. Available in natural, it is heat-stabilized for improved resistance to elevated temperatures. The heat stabilization package for Vydyne 41H was formulated to provide thermal endurance when used in applications in which continuous or extended high-temperature exposure is anticipated.
Vydyne 47 series is recognized for all the processing and property advantages inherent to PA66 with the addition of improved impact strength. These resins offer a well balanced combination of engineering properties characterized by high melt point, good surface lubricity, abrasion resistance and resistance to many chemicals including solvents, machine and motor oils. The Vydyne 47 series is designed to meet the critical low temperature impact requirements called out in many automotive specifications.
Vydyne 47H is general-purpose, impact-modified PA66 resin. Available in black, it is heat-stabilized for improved resistance to elevated temperatures. The heat stabilization package for Vydyne 47H was formulated to provide thermal endurance when used in applications in which continuous or extended high-temperature exposure is anticipated.
Vydyne 49H is recognized for all the processing and property advantages inherent to PA66 with the addition of improved impact strength. These resins offer a well balanced combination of engineering properties characterized by high melt point; good surface lubricity, abrasion resistance; and resistance to many chemicals including solvents and machine and motor oils.
Vydyne 63A is a medium-viscosity resin used for injection-molding and extrusion-compounding. It is desirable to include this neat resin in a formulation in which the melt strength of the final product is critical for the application.
Vydyne 63A exhibits good initial color and it has a moisture level below 0.1%. This product offers high strength, rigidity and toughness over a broad range of demanding applications. Resistance of Vydyne 63A to heat, oil and wear is typical of PA66 neat resins. The high melt strength of Vydyne 63A makes it a candidate for cast gilm or other applications requiring a high melt strength. Typical extrusion applications include film for food packaging, monofilament, bristles, rods, tubing, as well as sheet for use in many automotive and industrial applications.
Vydyne 63H is a medium-viscosity, heat stabilized PA66 resin suitable for injection-molding, extrusion and compounding applications. It is available in natural color only. Vydyne 63H offers high strength, rigidity, and toughness over a broad range of demanding applications, good fluid resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, solvents and oils, and heat stability to ensure property longevity when the material is subjected to higher temperatures.
Vydyne 65A is a member of a family of unreinforced extrusion grade nylon 6,6 resins. It is available in natural color only. These resins offer high strength, rigidity and toughness over a broad range of demanding applications. Vydyne extrusion grade resins provide good resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, solvents and oils.Vydyne 65A is a intermediate viscosity resin suitable for injection molding and extrusion applications.
Vydyne 65A can be fabricated into monofilament, bristle, tubing, rod, profile, and sheet for use in automotive and industrial applications.
Vydyne 65B is a medium-high-viscosity resin used for extrusion-compounding. It is desirable to include this neat resin in a formulation in which the melt strength of the final product is critical for the application. Vydyne 65B exhibits good initial color and it has a moisture level below 0.1%. Resistance of Vydyne 65B to heat, oil and wear is typical of PA66 neat resins.
Overview:
Vydyne PA66 and PA6 resins and compounds, including neat resin, impact-modified, mineral-filled, glass-filled and outdoor weatherable products. Vydyne is used around the world in automobiles, cable ties and fasteners, consumer goods, electrical and electronic products and industrial equipment.
