Description:

Ultramid A4H is a medium viscosity PA66 grade. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Provides good toughness at low temperatures, high rigidity, high mechanical strength, stiffness, thermal stability, very good impact strength and good processability. Ultramid A4H high heat aging resistant, medium viscosity injection moulding grade for highly stressed parts such as bearing cages,gear-wheels, coil formers and cable connectors.

Ultramid C3U is an injection molding, general purpose PA6/66 grade with improved flame retardance. The product is UL recognized as 94V0 at 0.4 mm minimum thickness.

Ultramid A3L HP is an unreinforced, heat stabilized, impact modified, high flow, nylon 66 for injection molding. This grade has excellent flow and improved ambient and low temperature toughness.

Ultramid A3L HP UV is an unreinforced, impact modified, UV stabilized, high flow nylon 66 for injection molding. This grade has excellent flow and improved ambient and low temperature toughness.

Ultramid A3Z is an impact modified PA66 grade. Possesses good electrical properties, elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties. Ultramid A3Z an impact-modified and stabilized injection moulding grade for components and housings with good low temperature impact resistance.

Ultramid A3Z HP is an unreinforced, impact modified, heat stabilized, high flow PA66 injection molding grade. Ultramid A3Z HP offers a unique combination of maximum toughness and impact resistance with excellent high flow processability.

Ultramid A3Z HP UV is an impact modified PA66 containing heat and ultraviolet light stabilizers. Designed for maximum toughness at low temperatures, Ultramid A3Z HP UV offers a unique combination of impact performance and excellent processability.

Ultramid A3ZG3 HP is a 14% glass fiber reinforced, heat stabilized, impact modified, injection molding PA66 grade.

Ultramid A3ZG6 is an impact-modified PA66 grade reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Possesses good elastic properties, high dimensional stability, high creep strength and excellent sliding friction properties.

Ultramid A3ZG7 HP is a 33% glass reinforced, heat stabilized, impact modified PA66 black with a combination of excellent impact resistance, toughness and strength.

Ultramid A3ZM2 is a high performance non- conductive resin for offline paint applications. Its physical properties, dimensional stability and simple processing combine in a resin uniquely suited for weight saving painted parts.


Overview:
Ultramid grades are molding compounds on the basis of PA6, PA66 and various co-polyamides such as PA66/6. The range also includes PA610 and semi-aromatic polyamides such as PA6T/6. The molding compounds are available unreinforced, reinforced with glass fibers or minerals and also reinforced with long-glass fibers for special applications. Ultramid is noted for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. In addition, Ultramid offers good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior and can be processed without any problems.

Ultramid can be processed by all methods known for thermoplastics. The main methods are injection molding and extrusion. Complex moldings are economically manufactured in large numbers from Ultramid by injection molding. The extrusion method is used to produce films, semi-finished products, pipes, profiled parts, sheet and monofilaments. Semi-finished products are usually further processed by cutting tools to form finished molded parts.
