FKM/FFKM B-600 fluoroelastomer is a gum polymer that demonstrates improved terpolymer processing and lower compound viscosity, along with the excellent heat and fluid resistance characteristics of the "B-family" of FKM/FFKM. FKM/FFKM B-600 is especially suited to curing with the bisphenol system.
The applications for FKM/FFKM B-600 as below:
• Molded goods, e.g., shaft seals
• Calendered goods, e.g., flue duct expansion joints
FKM/FFKM B-135C and FKM/FFKM B-435C are two Viton precompounds intended for use in molding applications that require bonding to metal inserts. FKM/FFKM B-135C and FKM/FFKM B-435C have a nominal Mooney viscosity (ML 1+10 at 121 °C [250 °F]) of 10 and 40, respectively. Both precompounds have the excellent heat and fluid resistance associated with other FKM/FFKM terpolymers.
These precompounds contain a proprietary cure system, bonding promoter, and process aid package that has been developed to impart improved processing characteristics over existing terpolymer precompounds like FKM/FFKM B-651C. They are designed to provide a wide processing window combined with easy mold release and low mold fouling.
Typical applications for these materials are valve stem,cam shaft, and crank shaft seals, as well as other metal bonded components requiring the heat and fluid resistance of a FKM/FFKM terpolymer.By blending FKM/FFKM B-135C with FKM/FFKM B-435C, full compounds may be tailored to give the viscosity most appropriate for the production equipment in use (compression, transfer, or injection molding) and tooling geometry.
FKM/FFKM B-601C is an incorporated cure "B-family" polymer that demonstrates improved processing properties when compared to older "B-family" terpolymer fluoroelastomers.
The improved properties provide excellent compound flow in molding (compressions, injection, transfer) parts, where the heat and fluid characteristics of a "B-family" FKM/FFKM are needed.
Applications: O-rings, gaskets, and other molded parts requiring properties of a terpolymer "B-family" FKM/FFKM.
FKM/FFKM B-651C is an incorporated cure "B-family"terpolymer that demonstrates improved processing properties and better metal adhesion when compared with older"B-family"terpolymer fluoroelastomers. The improved properties provide excellent compound flow in molding (injection, transfer, compression) bonded parts where the heat and fluid characteristics of a "B-family"FKM/FFKM are needed.The Applications as below:
