Description:

VESTAKEEP PEEK is one of the highest performance thermoplastics. Its chemical resistance is similar to polyphenylene sulfide, but PEEK can operate at higher temperatures, retaining its excellent mechanical properties at continuous-use temperatures up to 240 °C (464 °F). Of all plastics, PEEK offers the best combination of inertness and heat resistance. This high-performance polymer retains its original properties, Extremely low levels of extractables, outgassing,and contaminants make PEEK an excellent material for wafer handling in semiconductor production.

Processing:
VESTAKEEP PEEK molding compounds have extremely high oxidative stability in the melt and can be used continuously at temperatures exceeding 260°C. We recommend a melt temperature between 360°C and 380°C during the injection molding process. The mold temperature should be within a range of 160°C to 200°C, preferably 180°C.

VESTAKEEP compounds can be used for a wide range of applications, such as in electrical, electronic, and communications engineering and in the automotive industry.
