Amodel AE-1133 is a 33% glass reinforced, heat stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. It has a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and high tensile strength. Excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption are also characteristic of this resin.

Amodel AE-4133 is a 33% glass reinforced, hot-water moldable polyphthalamide (PPA) designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. This grade features a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and high tensile strength, as well as excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption.

Amodel AE-8930 is a 30% glass reinforced polyphthalamide (PPA) designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. This grade features a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and high tensile strength, as well as excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption.

Amodel AE-8935 is a 35% glycol resistant glass-reinforced heat stabilized polyphtalamide (PPA) resin designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. It is distinguished by a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus, high tensile strength and low moisture absorbtion.

Amodel AE-8950 is a 50% glass reinforced polyphthalamide (PPA) designed to work in the modern automotive electrical environment. This grade features a high heat deflection temperature, high flexural modulus and high tensile strength, as well as excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption. It also has improved hydrolytic stability and is glycol resistant.

Amodel ET-1000 HS is an impact modified, heat stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) that exhibits exceptional impact strength and toughness. Like all Amodel PPA resins, ET-1000 HS offers high fatigue strength, good chemical resistance and high mechanical property retention over a broad temperature and humidity range.

Overview:
Amodel PPA outperforms standard polyamides with higher strength and stiffness at elevated temperatures, better retention of properties in humid environments, and greater resistance to a broader range of chemicals. 
 
Higher Heat Resistance
Amodel PPA is used to replace metal in high-temperature automotive applications. Continuous-use temperatures range from 120°C to 185°C (248°F to 365°F). Heat deflection temperatures (HDT) go up to 310°C (590°F).
 
Lower Moisture Absorption
Humid environments can have a devastating effect on the mechanical properties of standard polyamides. Amodel PPA's lower water absorption rate results in significantly less change in strength and stiffness, even with high levels of humidity.
 
Better Chemical Resistance
Amodel PPA's highly aromatic ring structure provides greater resistance to a broader range of chemicals than standard aliphatic polyamides, even at high temperatures.
