Description:
Starflam 315 (formerly Vydyne ECO315) is a non-halogenated, unfilled, flame-retardant PA6,6/6 copolymer with excellent toughness and ductility. It is lubricated for machine feed and easy mold release.
Starflam 315J (formerly Vydyne ECO315J) is a non-halogenated, unreinforced, flame-retardant PA66/6 co-polymer compound designed with high ductility (>20% elongation), high comparative tracking index (CTI), and low corrosion for improved electrical contact performance. It is stabilized to provide heat stability up to 125°C for 1,000 hours in a dry environment. It exhibits excellent toughness and ductility, allowing increased flexibility in product design needed for living hinges and snap fits. Starflam 315J provides enhanced flow and is lubricated for machine feed and easy mold release.
Starflam 366 (formerly Vydyne ECO366) is a non-halogenated, unreinforced, flame-retardant PA66 compound designed with high comparative tracking index (CTI) and low corrosion for improved electrical contact performance. It has superior flow properties to assist in filling thin-walled, intricate parts with reduced warpage and reduced cycle time. It is lubricated for machine feed and easy mold release.
Starflam 366H (formerly Vydyne ECO366H) is an unfilled, heat stabilized PA66, containing a non-halogen flame retardant. 366H is designed for electrical and electronic components and offers outstanding RTI Electrical performance of 150°C and UL94 V0 at 0.2mm thickness.
Overview:
Flame-retardant PA66, PA6 and PA66,6 resins and compounds
Halogenated and non-halogenated resins and compounds with exceptional, UL yellow card-certified flame-retardant performance. The Starflam portfolio is designed to meet the highest standards, from tracking resistance and glow-wire ignition, to UL94 (up to 5VA).
Applications
Electrical and Electronics
E-mobility
Glass-fiber reinforced Vydyne resins provide higher heat distortion temperature, resistance to creep and better dimensional stability when compared with unreinforced PA66. These products have good chemical resistance to a broad range of chemicals including hydraulic fluids and most solvents.
