Daikin Polyflon PTFE F-205
Polyflon PTFE F-205 is a polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-205 has been specifically designed for the manufacture of thin wall tubing and wire coating applications requiring good color, clarity, thermal stability and stress crack resistance. F-205 may berun at high reduction ratios and at high speeds.

Polyflon PTFE F-207 is a polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder resin for paste extrusion manufactured without the use of PFOA. F-207 has been designed for small diameter coaxial cables and tubing applications that are run at high reduction ratios. F-207 is ideal for high frequency insulating applications because of its low, uniform dielectric constant and dissipation factor over a wide frequency range. F-207 also demonstrates good thermal stability and excellent dimensional tolerance at low extrusion pressures.

POLYFLON PTFE is composed of polytetrafuluoroethylene, the most commonly used fluoroploymer. PTFE has a very long chain molecular structure in which all of the hydrogen atoms of polyethylene are replaced.
PTFE is superior in heat resistance and chemical resistance compared with the other plastics. These properties result from stable chemical structure consisting of only carbon atoms with the highest electro negativity.

POLYFLON PTFE has the highest melting point and lowest friction, and is the most inert of all the fluoropolymers. It has a continuous service temperature rating of 260 Deg C (500 deg F). Molding powders are excellent, fine cut granular resins, well suited for a variety of demanding chemical, mechanical, electrical and non-stick surface applications. Molding powders are available in homopolymer and modified grades. Typical applications include thin skived film for electronic parts, laboratory equipment, gaskets, diaphragms, O-rings, slide bearings, V-rings, pump parts, seals, sheet lining, mold release films, filled compounds, bellows, impellers, containers and high purity bags.
